Terms of Use

1. Using ArabiGO

These terms apply to the ArabiGO application and related website and learning services. By using ArabiGO, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. How personal data is handled is explained separately in our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 13 years old to use ArabiGO. If you have not reached the age at which you may agree to these terms on your own under applicable law, you may use the service only with a parent or guardian’s permission and supervision, and only where the law permits. Any higher minimum age required by applicable law also applies.

2. Your account

Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. Do not impersonate someone else or give other people access to your account contrary to your plan’s conditions. Contact us if you believe someone has used your account without permission.

Use the account associated with your purchase when accessing paid features or restoring a store purchase. Availability of particular features or content may depend on your plan, device and region, as described before purchase.

3. Content and permissions

You may use ArabiGO and the content made available to you for your own learning, within your plan and the permissions provided by the service. This permission does not transfer ownership of the application, its design, learning materials or third-party content.

ArabiGO materials and third-party books, videos, audio and other works remain the property of their respective rights holders. Do not copy, redistribute, sell or publicly share them beyond the permissions provided by the service, the rights holder or applicable law.

You retain any rights you have in content you submit, such as messages and recordings. You give ArabiGO permission to store, process, transmit and display that content only as needed to provide the features you choose, maintain their security and fulfill legal obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy. This includes processing by service providers working on those features. It is not a transfer of ownership or permission to publish your private content for advertising.

For an app downloaded from the App Store, the applicable app license also applies. Where Apple’s standard license governs your download, see the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. These service terms supplement that license.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use ArabiGO to break the law, infringe others’ rights, harass people or submit content that you do not have permission to use. Do not attempt to access other users’ accounts or data, distribute malicious software, bypass payment or security controls, or disrupt the service through abusive automated activity.

These restrictions do not limit activities that applicable law expressly allows, such as legally protected research or other rights that cannot be waived by contract.

5. AI and learning content

AI conversations, translations, pronunciation feedback and other learning materials can contain mistakes or unsuitable responses. AI output is generated automatically and is not a statement by a human teacher. Check important answers and use your judgment before relying on them.

ArabiGO is an educational service. Its content is not professional medical, legal, financial or other specialist advice, and it does not guarantee a particular learning outcome. Avoid submitting sensitive information about yourself or others in practice conversations.

6. Purchases and renewal

The purchase screen and payment confirmation show the product, included access, price, currency and billing period or access duration that apply to your purchase. Review them before confirming payment. Any trial, introductory offer or promotion applies only when expressly offered, on the conditions shown with that offer.

App Store and Google Play subscriptions: payment is charged through the store account used for the purchase. A subscription renews automatically for successive billing periods unless you cancel renewal through that store in accordance with its rules. The store’s confirmation and subscription settings show the applicable renewal details. Any price change is subject to the store’s notice and consent requirements and applicable law.

One-time store purchases: a product expressly sold as a one-time purchase is not a recurring subscription and does not renew automatically. The access included is the access described for that product at checkout.

Web purchases: paid access purchased through ArabiGO’s web checkout is currently a one-time payment for the fixed duration shown at checkout. It does not renew automatically. To continue after it expires, you need to make another purchase. Your checkout and receipt identify the seller and payment provider for that transaction.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Manage or cancel a store subscription using the same Apple or Google account that made the purchase:

• Apple: manage or cancel your subscription.
• Google Play: manage or cancel your subscription.

Cancellation stops future renewal under the store’s rules. Access generally continues until the paid period ends, unless a refund, trial condition or another applicable store rule changes that period. Uninstalling ArabiGO or deleting your ArabiGO account does not cancel the subscription. Cancel through the store separately.

Refund eligibility depends on the purchase channel, the circumstances and applicable consumer law. For store purchases, use Apple’s refund request process or Google Play’s refund guidance. For a web purchase, contact contact@arabigo.app with your receipt or transaction reference. Do not send your full payment-card details.

There is no single refund deadline that applies to every purchase and country. These terms do not remove any mandatory rights to withdraw from a purchase, receive a refund or obtain another remedy under applicable law.

8. Leaving the service

You may stop using ArabiGO at any time. To delete your account and request deletion of associated personal data, follow the steps in Account deletion in the Privacy Policy. Deletion, subscription cancellation and a refund request are separate actions.

Access may be restricted or suspended where reasonably necessary to address a material breach of these terms, fraud, a security threat or a legal requirement. Where appropriate and legally required, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. Such action does not remove your mandatory rights concerning paid access or refunds.

9. Availability and your rights

Service interruptions, technical faults and changes to third-party content can occur. We do not promise that every feature or item will be available at all times. If a problem affects access you paid for, contact us so we can investigate and provide any remedy required by applicable law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or takes away mandatory consumer protections. Links and embedded services operated by third parties are subject to their own applicable terms.

ArabiGO uses YouTube API services and an embedded YouTube player to make YouTube videos available. By using these features, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated to reflect changes to the service or legal requirements. The date above identifies this version. We will give notice of material changes, including advance notice where required, and seek agreement where the law requires it. A notice will explain when the changes take effect. Changes do not remove rights you already have under applicable law.

The English and Russian versions are intended to have the same meaning. If you notice a difference, contact us so it can be corrected.
